“I'm a simple man. All I want is enough sleep for two normal men, enough whiskey for three, and enough women for four.” -Joel Rosenberg
The 'Old Bushmills' Distillery is the World's Oldest Licensed Whiskey Distillery. King James I in April 1608 and Bushmills has been making the finest Irish Malt Whiskey here for almost four hundred years since. Situated just a mile from the spectacular Giant's Causeway, the distillery lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty and rich in history and folklore. Bushmills, or "White bush" as it can be known, is the best selling, and best known of the Bushmills brands, however, it is the lightest whiskey, in character, bearing the Bushmills name. It was designed to compete with Scottish blends and it's malt to grain ratio reflect that with nearly 2/3 grain.

Nose: Grains have always been at the front of the nose of a glass of Bushmills Irish Whiskey. More recently, however, malt has been added to this Northern Irish whiskey, along with slight sherry notes and a bit of oaky character that waft up.
Taste: The start of Bushmills is most pleasing, the way the malt dances on the tip of your tongue and is matched with the grain. The oily sweetness dissipates quickly giving way to chocolate and oak.
Finish: The finish can be bitter and unforgiving, but the chocolate and oil linger lightly for a time.
